Since March 2018, President of the Polish Space Agency from the nomination of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

Grzegorz Brona is a graduate of the Faculty of Physics at the University of Warsaw. He obtained his doctorate in 2007, and habilitation in 2018. He specializes in high energy physics. Co-author of many scientific articles published, among others in Nature. In 2009-2011 he worked as a leader of scientific team at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in the European Organization for Nuclear Research CERN in Geneva.

Grzegorz Brona is co-founder of the largest company in the space sector with Polish roots – Creotech Instruments S.A. In 2015-2018 he was the president of the board. In parallel, he sat in the Council of the Polish Space Agency.
